¿ARE YOU CAPABLE OF BEING ATTRACTED TO THE GAY MEN THAT ARE "RIGHT" FOR YOU?
Do you pick the wrong men to date?
We can’t force ourselves to be attracted to anyone, no matter how “right” we think they are for us. Yet there’s a life-changing insight most of us have never been taught: While our sexual attractions can’t be forced, can they be educate?
What do you do when you meet someone great, and you feel some spark of attraction, but not enough to fall in love?

¿HOW DOES THE SHY GAY MAN SURVIVE?
Our lives are increasingly massaged into a social existence. Some argue that we are social beings and thus interacting in group environments and liking it is sign of normal, adjusted behavior. Under this thought, the man that shies away from group behavior is seen as maladjusted, an outsider, loner or freak.
Is there any surprise gay men have a difficult time being out at work? Team is tantamount, even during water cooler talk. No wife, no kids, no grass to mow? Not a team player.
Workplace aside, our lives are gauged by social potential. Measurements of manhood have slowly evolved from penis size to Facebook friend lists and Twitter followers. The popular kids in school have taken over and our family, friends and potential dates are in on the contest. Where before we kept some things private and others public, there is ever increasing pressure to broadcast the full package. Those details are shouted into the depths of the internet, only to await comparison and judgement.
For more social gays, rejection from others is a call to cling tighter to other circles of cyber family and friends. But what of the shy or introverted gay man? Does he take the blows in full resolution or retreat into where he wants to be most: with himself and a limited group of confidants? And, is he a freak for enjoying a party of two more than two hundred?
It's here that most stereotypes and generalizations are born. The gay man that stays clear of the pride parade is assumed many things, his biggest offense being his refusal to join in the fight. The assumption is that he's not fighting at all. His anti-social behavior is seen as a rejection of an entire community, when in fact he just might not like crowds. The "loner" gay man's choices can root in a number of things ranging from social phobia to shyness. The presumption, however, is most often slanted towards his perceived inadequacy or danger to the group.
I feel that the many social environments that sees shy gay men as rejects are looking at persons that are essential to the survival of our species.

¿HOW DO YOU DETOX FROM THE DATING GAME?
When you’re single, dating can feel a lot like work. Am I saying the right thing? Is he attracted to me? Why can’t I get him out of my head? Not to mention over-analyzing every mixed signal. It’s like emotional overtime that you’re not getting paid for. The good thing though, is that you can take a holiday whenever you want.
So gay men, what ways do you take a holiday from your dating scene and detox yourself of any boy-related drama?

WHEN THE HOT GUY LOSES HIS APPEAL...
There will always be a fantasy that’s more titillating than reality, but if you lose yourself entirely to some idealized version of what you’re looking for, you’ll end up closed off to a world of possibility and pleasure.
We’ve seen it a million times, which only goes to show how powerful a force our own imaginations are when it comes to what turns us on.
Have you ever met someone you thought was drop-dead sexy, only to get to know them over a period of time and realize you have absolutely no attraction to them in any way, shape or form?

¿HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'VE FALLEN OUT OF LOVE?
Everyone loves a love story, but few people like to talk about the moment Cupid took his arrow back.
Much is written and romanticized about falling in love. People talk about that moment they were stuck by a thunder bolt or hit by Cupid’s arrow: the day their life changed forever.
It’s rare to hear about the flipside: The emotional sucker punch when Cupid rudely pulls that arrow back out.
The pantheon of pop is built upon heartbreak songs, but those are usually from the viewpoint of the person who’s been dumped. What about that moment when you realize you don’t love that someone anymore?
In a world that says love is all that matters, falling out of love can feel like failure.
The reason we may not recall those moments of falling out of love is because it can take some time before we act upon them.
Maybe we at first deny it, or we think it’s a blip and things will go back to the way they were?
Or we’re just cowardly and can’t bring ourselves to act. Perhaps there will be wider ramifications for families, children, others, etc.
Falling out of love can be messy and painful. It can prompt guilt and shame. In a world that says love is all that matters, falling out of love can feel like failure. Perhaps it’s not surprising we don’t talk about it so much.
But it happens everyday. And prolonging the split only draws out the process.
If you know you’ve fallen out of love with someone, and that you don’t have a future together, isn’t it better to act sooner rather than later?

¿HOW DOES A BREAK-UP AFFECT YOU?
Break-ups come in all shapes, sizes and levels of extremity, from ‘we just drifted apart’ to ‘that cheating bastard!’ The post-break-up period can be equally polarised.
Why do some relationships break down in the first instance?
And how can we safeguard our mental and sexual health after a break-up?

¿HOW DO YOU FIND MR. RIGHT WHEN YOU'RE SURROUNDED BY LOVELESS ONE NIGHTS STANDS?
Love got you down? You’re not the only one. Finding Mr. Right can be a real challenge, especially in the wham-bam-thank-you-man age of dating apps.
Most of us resort to dating apps like Grindr, Scruff, OkCupid or Manhunt, all with the hopes of connecting with our community or meeting the love of our life.
But apps, usually just attract guys looking to get their rocks off and can leave you feeling rejected and lonely especially when a hookup or encounter doesn’t turn into a meaningful friendship.
Bars and clubs can be equally difficult, especially for those who aren’t into “the scene.”
Where exactly do you go to meet guys?

HIS BOYFRIEND WENT 'GHOST' ON HIM
A friend of mine’s boyfriend went ghost on him. He was dating him for 3 months. When he told me, I wasn’t surprised at all. Actually I was shocked they lasted that long. Why? Well because I knew the guys intentions weren’t pure.
See I have a way of reading people. I can sense good people as well as bad. When I met the guy, I knew, this was not the man for him. Being this was my friend. I kept it real, but I still respected his decision to stay involved with the guy. It’s his life, he makes his own decisions. But as a real true friend, I told him the honest truth.
Fast forward to now. My friend is heart broken and depressed about this guy and is suicidal and to make things worst, I found out that the guy is HIV+. What would you do if you were me? Would you tell your friend about what you found out about the guy?

¿HOW BIG IS YOURS?
On hook up apps, we may embellish a little. At the beach, we may subtly adjust it to look better. Why is it so hard (pun intended) to talk honestly and openly about penis size?
A lot of avoidance on this issue likely comes down to the fact that our narrative about what constitutes a good size penis can largely be summed up in just 3 words – bigger is better. This baseline expectation is so entrenched in our collective thinking and culture, that it’s pushed out any other possible ideals.
It explains the rise in popularity of wonder-jock underwear, which much like it’s female cousin counterpart – the push up bra, enhances your natural shape to make it seem larger. It explains the anxiousness many men feel in gym change rooms. And ultimately, it explains why this topic seems to be so unapproachable for the majority of guys.
There’s potential to have a mature, real and affirming discussion about penis size, that would be so beneficial for so many guys. These unrealistic expectations that we place on ourselves, and that seemed to be reinforced by society, aren’t productive.
So big is yours?
